East egg
The east egg is the upper class haven, and would appear to house the rich and famous. along with the rich and famous lives Gatsby, the wealthy man with all the alcohol. the narator lives right smack dab in the middle of the two.
West egg
the west egg is where all the "normal" or middle class people live. it tends not to have much of a view, but is livable all the same. most think of it as lesser then the east egg
